Requesting a Teacher
HB 4545 states that parents have the right to request a different teacher. Parents may request a teacher prior to the first day of school by contacting the campus principal in writing. Some grades and/or subjects only have 1 teacher who is in the position therefore requests are not possible. For grades and/or subjects that have more than one teacher parents may make a written request. The campus leadership team will take this information into consideration for the upcoming school year. As always, we try to do what is best for each individual when making placement decisions.
